Gold Essence order

If a Cult/Apoth has a few mins, I need 4 to 5 level 50 Gold Essences. I'm at level 73 TM and can't get over the hump. Thanks in advance.

If I can get goldweed, I've got tons of dust for making essence.

I can see to it that any goldweed seeds mailed to me or left in the vault are churned into essences within, say, a day. Unless you specifically ask, i'll probably just put them in the vault, as we have a lot of talismaneers who need them these days. mostly i'll cultivate them and send them to Gisli, because he has lots of dust.

Find a BO that we own in one of the RvR lakes that is labeled as "Artisan's Gift". Talk to the Sergeant there (the mounted guard) to get the buff of the same name. It will increase your skill in all trades (except Salvaging, which I've already reported as a bug but you should too) by 10 for 30 minutes, allowing you to use 75 skill items if you want.

Does actual skill level seem to matter beyond what components/items you can use? I've not been able to notice a difference in my experience with TM and Salvaging.

I'm not certain... I don't pay enough attention to what I'm generating when I make potions. But it is possible that when you have high skill, the potion you make from a given set of ingredients shifts its table of possible outcomes up a bit. I get the impression that I'm making some better potions when I go back an throw in lower level ingredients. But maybe I'm just spreading a rumor here. Or it could be that I'm using better stabilizers (water) and that is what is causing the effect.

I got sent some goldweed of skill 1 and 25. But I've got no dust below skill 50. I think I have to use lower-level dust, or the essences might be higher skill.. which might mean that some starting talisman makers are stuck.

So if anyone scavenges skill 1 or skill 25 dust, please drop it in the guild vault (or mail to me, but putting in the vault is better if you are passing that way).

There's an addon that keeps track of what you make. I don't recall the name but I can hover my mouse over a seed or ingredient and it will tell me what I've made from it.
