OK, I admit up front that I work in the financial services industry, so the turmoil in the world markets has a direct impact on me. However, this is a big enough issue that everyone should know what's going on, and why this effects them too. With this in mind, I thought I'd put up a few links that help explain the basic concepts, and shows how the whole system is interconnected. Maybe a games forum isn't the ideal place for this, but outside work, this is where I hang out most...:)
