I left the game recently (officially the 17th).
I went back to Daoc, if any of you still play both you might see me on Thumbs :D
Good luck out there!

So what made you go back, Thumbs? I'm curious.

Well, other than running with guildies and friends, the game was a complete let-down (imo).
RvR seemed kind of pointless and very redundant.
My sorc was not nearly as fun as my runie hehe.
Positional styles and rvr in general seemed "dumbed down" to me. No real strategy at all.
The community had no "feel" to it like it still does in DAOC. I was surprised at how many people are still on Killbury (I ran with Oje, Galroth, Rykes etc yesterday).
The general feel to the game was not to my liking (guns, turrets, rvr lakes, etc.)
The siege was awful compared to an older game in DAOC.
The lore was not engaging to me.
And they name-nerfed Thumbs :P

I know alot of people that have quit because of name nerfs. Sad to see anyone leave. But we all follow are own paths.

You echo'd my sentiments exactly.. Only you managed to hold out far longer than myself lol.
I log into DAOC once in a blue moon, but the population keeps growing, so I'll probably be playing again more often. Hope to see you in DAOC again!
