It looks like Mythic is going to put in a Darkness Falls style dungeon based on zone control in June. It is going to be called Land of the Dead. Do you think this will help the game, especially with its endgame mechanics?

With PT it should help. It will "thin" the zerg down some as people will fight for the dungeon and some will fight for a city. As time progresses, people will gravitate towards what they perfer the most and things should co-exist nicely. There may be some detremental effects at first though when everyone is trying out the new "toy".

I agree with Vydor here. The more space they give us to fight in, the more everyone will find their niche and gravitate towards what they enjoy most (be that 6v6, zerging, soloing, Scenarios, etc). The more space and options they give us, the more things will get spread out enough that everyone can find something they enjoy.

The problem is unless you can annihilator from down there as well as in orvr I don't see it as being a large draw as thats why many of the people in orvr are there getting wards for city dungeons (because bastion is a pain even compared to hitting 20-30 keeps when you're trying to find a pug)

Anyone got a diamond group going?

Most likely the solo and the small group folks will gravitate there. Will be like Laby in daoc.Witch Hunters and Witch Elves will materialize anywhere you decide to throw a rock at.

@Athelstaine & @llyweln: I was thinking the exact same things haha. Hopefully you can get lesser wards from diamond gear.

some updates for you guys

A) content for lvl 25+
b) token system
c) end dungeon drops = lost vale power level (or slighty better, which means whatever)
d) no new wards, expect to need sent/conq for end bosses (this is my guess... but as someone stated above, would be frigging great for lesser wards to be bought with tokens)
e) lot more jewerly sets, which I think is going to be the focus
f) up to warband size encounters (thinking training ground for king instance)
G) 2 zones/parts
h) large open world area and instances (rvr/pvp in ANY of these.. sigh)

I am also hearing it's going to be harder than lost vale.

Which I think will be wonderful since it will help us train people to work as a group in a warband, listen to directions, learn their classes and so forth if we are to be successful.

Also assume it's going to be a place for weapons, shields and all sort of end level non-warded items.

Woah reading the article I didn't know warhammer had taken such a massive hit to it's player base.

Not really surprsing. All new MMOs have large starting bases then after a few months drop off a great deal. WoW was unique in that it had a large base already from Blizzard's previous games.
