For the 3-4 of you that remember any of my DAOC toons, nice to see you again! For all the rest - nice to see you too!

I've had beta access since late July, but have played very little. In between the time I signed up for beta and got in, I got very busy at work and some other issues so other than logging in and looking around, I haven't accomplished (or really tested) anything. I could use some things to think about before full beta gets going, and general tips to avoid getting stalled on a toon after 20 levels of beta (after the rvr testing that is).

In DAOC I enjoyed my shaman, warrior, and hunter toons the most. During the time I could try dwarf or orc I liked both races fine- I love the humor on both sides. I didn't like the dark elf stuff too much. Too grouchy.

I have the heart of a mid - what race do you think I would ultimately enjoy playing and what class? And now the hard part... why?

Thanks!

I know less about Warhammer than I do about Broadway musical actors. But you can't go wrong with a pacification-like healer-spec. That'd be my advice.

A ton of us are going Chaos/Greenskin so you might want to look in that area.

The Harbringer looks rather interesting as they look like the counter for Dwarven rune magic and the shaman should be fun. From the look of it Squig Herders are going to be allot like Hunters with various pets including an AOE poison pet and they have the ability to jump into the back ranks to get to the squishies.
