anybody have tips on Gutbeater? post-patch the torch bug no longer works on the gnoblar friend and he seems to kill our tank in 2-3 hits. is killing the gnoblars along the path to Gut increase his hate or something?

all the guides make it look (relatively) easy :(

You have to tank the butcher and the gnoblar. Then you need to time it to kill the gnoblar just before he starts to MURDER your offtank due to this quick enrage. This will make the butcher hit harder (he enrages per death of gnoblar). I assume the encounter is again a nightmare.

If the butcher kills you in two to three hits just as you start the fight your wards are broken or the butcher is broken and is at full enrage. Time to post a bug report and wait six weeks for it to get fixed =/

yeah, we figured he may have been bugged. OT has 4 greater/1 superior ward, 10k hits. MT has 3 greater/2 superior, 10.2k hits and only lasts a split second longer.

we put our main tank on the gnoblar and our off tank on the butcher as gnoblar hits harder. from there we burned down the butcher. you have to die a couple times to see how far your group can take butcher down before your group has to kill gnoblar. once u figure out how long u can keep gnoblar alive before you have to kill him the encounter is ez. this is how we kill did it

or sometimes the gobnar just starts at full enrage and you need to wait for the hot fix

I'm betting he's generally been at full enrage. MT has 3 darkpromise/rest sent gear and 10.6k hits. OT has 2 superior/rest greater and 10k hits. healers at 800+ willpower. Thanks for the continued ideas.

yes but each time he resets he will start out at different lvls for us he started at 0 we wiped.he started at 3 for 4 times. 5 for 2 than back to 0 and we killed them
