Infiltration Keep Take Downs

Now I think its cool some people pull this off. But I saw some conflicts 2 days ago over this, when a wb was on outer doors while another group was inside and took the lord out. WB was entirely left out of the Lord take down.

The problem I see is lack of communication. Calamitous Intent I believe wasn't being butts on purpose. They were already inside working the lord and the wb had no clue. The problem is perception. It was perceived they snuck in and took the lord in spite of the WB working the doors.

I believe it was a misunderstanding now. I admit at first I was angry they did that. After some thought I think that they had no clue we were on the doors and at the same time we had no clue they were already on the lord.

I think that when this happens it may be a good idea to mention this infiltration. "We are in XYZ Keep now and lords about down". That would save wasted efforts of a warband or attack on a keep on there part so they can focus on other objectives. At the same time keeping a guilds reputation from being tarnished over a misunderstanding.

Just keep this in consideration. If they meant to do this , I believe they would have done it again on the next keep we hit. They didn't. I very much doubt they were being buttheads. So give them the benefit of the doubt.

The point is as a realm in Orvr try some more communication between each other. It benefits us all when these infiltrations work. Just the timing of it was bad when the WB was on the outer doors. I hope we can avoid this misunderstanding in the future.

What make me angry about this subject, is when a warband is working on the INNER door and a group sneak in and ninja the lord. There is no way they didnt saw that wb working on the inner door or saw the region chat saying the inner door of X keep is at X %. this kind of keep ninja happened about 3 time now to me. Even once they killed the lord as we opened the inner door ( the door went down as they did the killing blow on the lord). Its those people we need to name out. as they do nothing in my book than grief our own realm by taking away the chance of a gear upgrade for member of our own community. I had a list of the name and guild somewhere, but seems my kids decided to use that paper to do something and i lost it, but i will start a new one next time this happen again to me.

From experience with CI on Oster, trust me, they're worse than actual douchebags. They're wannabe-douchebags. lol

I cant judge because I dont have a negative history with them. Having a list may be usefull on guilds on the #&#& list, only if we implement a alliance wide shunning of there members. (the folks on our S-List)

Still I was only trying to provide feed back that some folks may have no clue, but the obvious ones that do it regardless of your realm mates being outside on the inner door is another story.

We necessarily can't stop them from doing it. I also think cussing them out on region is not good either.

It is better we just have the leaders of the guilds maybe implement a black list for specific guilds that really deserve it. that may take a council and voting to.

I think having several alliances kicking the black listed guilds members and shunning them from city pugs or PQ groups would be better.

I know if I was new to the game and joined a guild that was on this list. I would be gone soon as I realized the realm hates them to the point I can't get in a WB or City run because of the tag over my head.

Still i think ive gone way off topic here. Let's just try to give people the benefit of the doubt till we can verify it's not accidental and purposeful in nature.

So ill conclude this with being the better person and give them a chance to redeem themselves by there actions before I judge.\

PS: Also since Mythic allowed this to happen with there changes I believe the blame mostly falls on them. Even if it goes against my morale standing that a guild purposely jacks a keep from under a WB nose is not cool. It wouldn't happen if Mythic thought more about the lock picking being implemented.

The only time I will instruct a WB to do this is

1. Speed is of the utmost importance in securing the keep.
2. There are no other WB's around helping out.

And communicating that your WB is attempting to use this tactic is very important.

Oh I agree witcha' Warseth. I woz jus' providing some insight due to personally dealin' with CI and people like them / in their alliance from Oster that they aren't as innocent as they are trying to play it off as. I don't wanna' see you all get burned by people like them because, honestly, I dig this group and how you all are and wot you all are trying to do.

people will moan no matter what.. my wb was hitting wilhelms and all the bo's,

wanchai's wb was ninjaing morrs repose.

on /1 and /2 we broadcasted MANY times that the south keep was being ninja'd, and to only go there if you were a lockpicker.. if you werent, that you were supposed to be with the wilhelms and BO wb's.

people still moaned and cried when morrs fell, I couldnt believe it.. READ FREAKIN REGION CHAT. all of empire/chaos lands were briefed.

I'm always constantly entertained by how people react and act in region chat due to their own inability to basically pay attention. lol
