Short summary:
Punkbuster as an ally against cheating/hacking.
Only two capital cities at release: Altdorf (Empire) and The Inevitable City (Chaos), but each with more than two times the content originally planned for them. The other four cities to be added post-release. Note: This only refers to the Cities. We can assume that the actual battlefronts will remain and just be modified in some way to account for only having one City per realm.
Four careers not in at release: Choppa (Greenskin Melee DPS), Hammerer (Dwarf Melee DPS), Blackguard (Dark Elf Tank), Knight of the Blazing Sun (Empire Tank). Mythic doesn't know if they will end up adding them in post-release or if they will just be cut.

Disappointing as a whole, but it seems the only other options would be sacrificing quality on everything else in the game, pushing back the release again or having the items that are postponed be subpar. I still think this will be a great game, however.

The capital city thing doesn't bother me at all, I'll wait for extra content if the first two are a good as they look.

The missing classes, it sucks. If they can't get the classes in they should either wait till they can, drop them all together, or wait till the first expansion.

Oh well.... guess its down to disciple, witch elf, or marauder for me now, unless the magus turns out well.

Update on how the campaign functions from James (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showpost.php?p=964485&postcount=71).

QUOTE
Capital cities require you to capture 2 of the 3 campaigns. We'll have a much more informative explanation of how city capture works but it's now even more challenging and requires the cooperation of the entire realm to march to the gates of your enemies city and conquer their king, which in the end was always our goal.[/b]

It's hard for me to imagine this game without tanks.
Also; I was starting to imagine some version of Rhyki as a Blackguard.

Is this a bad sign?
It makes me wonder if they have the man-power ( or girl-power ) to complete their plans.

Only 2 of the 6 tanks are being postponed/cut.

Waaaa! (Waaugh?) Orc Choppa and Dwarf Hammerer were 2 of the classes I was considering.... Guess I'll have to re-consider...not that there isn't plenty of time for that <sigh>.

Well the light tanks seem to be on the cutting board.

That is partially good as I think the Dwarven Hammerer looked very evil with their finishing attacks against prone targets. Dwarves are still looking nasty, I wonder if they are as bloody bad ass in beta as they are on paper.

Again only 2 of 6, though keep in mind that what was called "Light Tank" in DAoC is now called "Melee DPS" in WAR with the developer-specified Archetype system.
