I am really a wargammer at heart, I just play computer games because we cant play wargames all day long. I remember the layout when I used to play warhammer. So I am wondering how many of yall had played warhammer or even warhammer RPG.

I used to play fantasy but not very often as i didnt have my own army.

Sanger is the pro warhammer player. He wins grand tournaments with his cheese armys!.

I played the table top version years ago. Think i still have my gobbo army around somewhere. I actually still do play the rpg version as well. Really like the new Green Ronin version compared to hogshead.

I tried to play, bought the books, armies, etc, loved the lore and story. But I found out that I was having more fun leaving the paint bottles open in an unventilated room because I could not find anyone to actually learn how the game operates, so I retired.

I have run and played in warhammer rpg games off and on for a couple of decades. It's a great RPG, and the new edition improved somewhat more than it defiled, so I'd recommend it.

I used to play warhammer 40k tabletop, and warmaster tabletop. Very fun.
I also dabbled in Warhammer pen and paper for a time.

I’ve been an Empire general since ’97, but haven’t been able to get a lot of games the past five years.

I’m checking out a game shop in my new town today actually. I’m told they play mostly 40K, but I’m hoping to find some fantasy players.

He must be independently wealthy. How one person could excel at MMORPG's and tournaments like he does and still have time to breath is beyond me.

I played Warhammer... Armies and RPG. Always enjoyed miniature battles (even tried all the D&D ones they tried to adapt) but my true love was Blood Bowl... now THERE was a fun, contained miniatures game! :D

While rather silly, I still found it highly enjoyable (especially xping up teams) and I'm still gonna hold out hope for the Blood Bowl expansion to WAR...

re: Sanger

Being a blood god does pay well. :D He got his beta at the LV tourney he won. Not from winning.. but for being cool.

I had an empire army back in the day. Sanger took control of it. My favorite though were my hobbit (halfling?) archers. He gave them all different looks. Snot out of the nose. Superman tshirt. 4 leaf clover etc.
I was always pretty good with my cannons but my favorite...
The party on wheels... I mean war wagon... I'd put one of the artillery men with the gun powder keg into the wagon for festivities!
