I don't know that anyone here is still playing WAR, but you may find this interesting anyway, as I did.
Games Workshop is suing Warhammer Alliance (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326733) (or, more accurately, Curse, as they own the site) for trademark infringement, diluting (of a trademark), cybersquatting and unfair competition. You can read the whole complaint (http://www.warhammeralliance.com/legal/Complaint.pdf), if you want.
I have no idea why they think this is a good plan. Even if they somehow manage to win (seems unlikely to me), they're just going to lose more customers. Unfortunately, suing their fans and customers seems to be something of an MO for them.
Edit: On further reading, it seems like this may be because of Curse's ad revenue and premium (paid) memberships. That makes it likely that they would win (since Curse is making money off of their trademarks), but it's still most likely going to cause them to lose a lot of money in the end.
