War Beta open to all old time DAOC players?

As a follow up:

I pre-purchased my copy of Warhammer yesterday at a local Game Stop store, noticing that the beta key's are supposed to be e-mailed and since my local Game Stop did not ask for my e-mail address I called Game Stop customer support (option 4) on the phone menu, they wer very helpful got my e-mail down and as soon as they recieve some more keys from EA/Mythic will be sending them out.

Bottom line if you ordered through Game Stop and they don't have your e-mail you might give them a call.

I picked up my keys in store with proof of order. Now it just remains if they work.

I was able to put my CE pre-order codes in on Monday, but haven't been invited as of yet even with prior association to DAoC, newsletter, etc. I guess they missed some people, maybe there was a cut-off date?

My CE pre-order code has been in for months and my Beta application was made over a year ago and I didn't get an invite. I'm not sure what the criteria was, but I didn't qualify. I'll be there for open Beta I guess.

They are opening up the Account Centre to accept those codes, they wont be activated until later though.

You can enter your code. That's about it. Though if you have standard edition, the first 50k or so will be invited into the welcoming weekend thing. Which is basically a weekend of beta for all special edition buyers and those 50k SE buyers.

Then, it'll be open beta.

Then it'll be 2 days of head start before the game actually goes live.

What days will these actually happen? No one knows. They haven't announced it. All you can do today is put in your codes.

Anyone else having issues with putting in the 2nd code? Seems it doesnt like mine, no matter how I type it (caps/no caps)

Does your code have any O's in it? If so, they should be Q's. Neither O's nor 0's are used in codes. Apparently this is a misprint for Target pre-orders, but something to check even if you didn't get it from Target.

nope no o's, the Q's i have are Q's
but the i (is it an I i or l gah!!) is confusin meh, yep blonde /laughs

hm, beta code went in no problems, no caps, item code still nada, might have to wait on the game.

It only went in with no caps? Odd. Mine was all caps, so I would have expected it to either require caps or not be case sensitive at all.

I was able to apply both my Head Start code and my In-Game Items code.

Mine went in fine too, to my new Mythic account. But I just copied mine from Amazon, so I didn't have to worry about re-typing anything.
