I'm sorry if this has been brought up already but the first wave of CE CB invites went out today.

I got in myself.

If your comp is even semi decent you'll most likely be invited the computer in my dxdiag is very poor for todays standards (P4 2.4 ghz 1g ram x850 xt).

GL everyone.

Also I'm hearing download speeds are very slow at the moment but as more people DL should get faster and faster.

You had the Open Beta code entered into your beta center account, I assume?

Yes. I now have mine and it is going to take about 2 days to download the torrent for open beta.

Yup CE codes.

I just wish my computer was here so I can start DL. Won't get much of a headstart on everyone else sense I won't have until thursday.

Mythic doesn't really say that's what you need to do (load your CE Beta codes into the Herald site), but I figured that was the only way they'd know who had a copy. I entered mine last night and am now holding my breath...(ok, not really, if I did I'd have died already...:rolleyes:)

After reading this yesterday I put in my code, and 6 hours later I got an invite to Closed Beta 3.

I recieved my Beta codes last night, but my new computer arrives wednesday. Ill wait till then to d/l the client.

I got my open beta code and it won't go through, the dude at mythic said wait till the 15th anyone else having problems?

Open Beta isn't open yet, which is why the code won't work. However, if you got the code from the CE, and you put it into your beta application, it might let you into closed beta (although they seem to have closed the doors on that for the time being...grrr!)

While you might be getting sick of my terrible headlines I hope you still got a fevah for more Beta Invites!

The last batch of CE Beta invites have just been sent out to all eligible CE Open Beta card holders.

We'd love to let everyone in but we still have a few more roofs to thatch before we're ready to have you move in. Look forward to the announcements on the preview weekend...they'll be coming to a Herald near you!


Ok, so I read that and went looking. My beta center account still says applied. Any ideas??? And, yes, I entered the CED pre-order code ages ago.

Yeah. Even updated it when I upgraded. I guess I thought when I read the herald that meant all CE pre-orders got invites. It was only more folks to join.

I'll see everyone when the open hits.
