Shame they can't play with us. Has it occured to anyone that DAoC was also unique in the sense that we had people playing from all over the world? I liked having a european contingent, it certainly gave us an edge in PvP, we had much more night time population than albs and hibs..:)

In a recent mail from Snapp he tells me that in WAR they have restrictions that prevent them from playing here, but that they also want to be able to play in their own prime time for more things to kill..:) Snapp also wants me to pass on his greetings to everyone here.

Oh and if anyone has seen "Wildkill" let me know, Snapp is looking for him (he bought Snapp's account and doesnt play any more, Snapp wants it back!)

Im very dissapointed with this have very many Euro pals, what we gotta do is arrange a way for those people to Get american Credit cards or work out payment systems =)~

That was def a nice thing with DAoC and I sorta hoped it would be the same in War. But with the EU/US release being at the same time and all..

Strange,from what I have heard EU folks will be free to play on the US servers. So just like in DAoC. I will (I hope) be playing on the US servers along with a few other Swedes. Just been playing with the same guilds since the release of DAoC, hard to give up on that.

could you just buy games and then sell them either to individuals or on ebay!?
There's nothing in the programing to keep them from playing on us servers?

The game is not the issue. Its the account. They have to have the mechanism to pay for a US account.

Mythic (or whatever they call themselves today) came out with pre-paid game cards that are us coin based.....couple of irish guys I know gonna use those.

Mirrannda, you would know better than we do. All I know for sure is that Mythic has separate US and Euro servers. There is a separate beta going on right now on Euro servers, which is totally invisible to me even as an "elder" playtester. They don't even uses our Beta test forums, so far as I can tell. I do know that there are a few Europeans on the US Beta servers, but I don't know the details on how they arranged that.

Well I managed to get on the US beta servers. I just bought Warhammer from a US company and had them ship it over.
