I did not get in however one of my guildees from Alb Ector did , he got in on the first round (friends and Families invites) im not sure how much i can say cause of the NDA , and he has sworne me to secrecy..

Sigh! The odds in getting in must be like a lottery ticket. At least I am trying to get in beta, but it makes me wander to persuave them is somthing to do with your writing structure cause as you can see I am not an expert in my writing skills. Otherwise I give my congrats on the people who made it in:)

I&#39;m curious as to how long it took those of you that got in from the time you actually "applied" to the notice of acceptance. I&#39;m sure it will vary, but it will also give those of us waiting an general idea.

Wulfnor -- I imagine that we all applied at about the same time -- when it opened.

From seeing what people post here and at Grambo, I&#39;ll guess they let in a new wave each week. I got my invite on 8/16, and it seems some got an invite today (8/23). They don&#39;t discuss this sort of thing at the Beta forum.

I&#39;m in it. It was part of a group of 2000ish a little over 1 month ago. I think it was about 3-4 weeks after i applied.

I dunno.... I&#39;ve gotten in early betas of many games... and I usually got more excited about the game watching it grow and develop (as in the case of DAoC for an example...) only a few games crushed my desire to play during beta (LotRO being the latest example of that! http://war.magnitudeweb.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry.gif ). Usually the magic get taken away after the game has gone live and whiny subscribers badger the dev teams into ruining the game (I miss how SWG USED to be http://war.magnitudeweb.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif ).

I really really REALLY wish they would let me in. WoW is starting to drive me even more insane. The gear discrepencies are just so huge at this point it makes me want to blow crap up. Skill only matters if gear is somewhat equal.
