Some of you might remember me from mid perc and Gisli and Elly might even remember me as Holdrack, one of the few druids the Sargeras guild had back then in WoW. I have been keeping an eye on the Grambo boards occasionally so it took a while to see there was a mid/perc warhammer board created. Lots of familiar names I've seen on this board so far from the ol'percival glory days and it makes me really hope that Warhammer will bring back the Massive epic realm vs realm wars that had me hooked for so long in Daoc. I still enjoy WoW but it's been on a decline for a very long time for me. If not for friends I made back there, I'd have left my account cancelled a long time ago. I even reopened my Daoc account while I was taking a break from wow but just couldn't get back into playing the healer in rvr, especially since it seemed so dead except on the VoV rvr night.

Anyway, I got invited into the beta on the wave of the 19th of july and have been wandering wide eyed in it every since. So if anyone from perc who's in beta feels like hooking up, you can look me up. Hopefully once guild invites go out, we'll see a bunch of the perc guild get in. That oughta be an interesting sight.

On the classic servers, RvR is very much alive, so try venturing there if you reopen DAoC again. That said, if you're in the WAR beta, that's not very likely, is it? ;)

Hehe, probably not. Now that I think on it, I'll have to remember to check if I actually cancelled my account once I stopped playing on my short return. It might still be active even though I don't log in anymore.

I mostly played on Gaheris for that month and a half anyway. I popped on Percival a few times and even started working on setting up Harnin for a few take outs in rvr but the one time I went out there on a Gisli/Sanger led night, I could barely find my way around anymore. Two years does make you forget a lot of things. I never did go to check the classic servers even though I had heard they were more active rvr wise but then again I wasn't sure how long levelling on them was.

Good to see you here! So you are one of the lucky beta folks? Congrats! We'll count on you to keep them on the straight path. ;)

They made it easier to level really, with xp bonuses and plenty of quests to go around. Also, finding groups with the new realm-wide /lfg channel is much easier. I'm actually really enjoying my glorious return to DAoC, even though I've yet to actually reach RvR level on anything... Being me, I keep hopping around on different characters, hehe.
