A: That's in Indiana.
B: I hate Ohio and will never root for their teams.
C: I don't love texas but they are at least in the west.

Isn't Indiana good enough for you? :D

I'm a UT-Austin fan (Hook 'em Horns!) and never really understood the facination with college football for folks that didn't go to that school. And of course, while I was a student advisor for many athletes, the number one question asked by them was, "Now what's the easiest degree I can go for?"
My reply was always the same, "This is the University of Texas; there are no easy degrees."
It was easier on them however with free tutors, private computer labs, etc.
Silly me, I thought people went to college to get an education! I went nuts over mathematics, physics, and French classes. :)

It is more fun then professional football imo. No prissy contracts.

I'm a Gainesville boy living in an Ann Arbor world....
There are only two real conferences in College Football, SEC and Big 12. Big 10 is just a joke. I will always take SEC teams over anyone else (except for Tennessee). Having lived in Florida for 24 years (where I was born), I'm a die hard Gator fan. :D

Well, I think you should add USC to that list...a very dominant team over the past 5 years. :)

Pac-10 is certainly growing in strength, which is good to see. I'm not much of a USC fan, but the players they produce are always top notch.
I do admit it made me giddy to see UCLA knock off Tennessee.

I just got back in town and was disappointed to see Illinois lost to Mizzou. The two teams combined for almost 1100 yards of offense!

Go Huskers!!!
Have to agree on the Big 12, SEC thing.
The conference on the rise to me seems to be the Big East.

Oh Rutgers football, how could you do this to me? We got beat down bad in our opener, hopefully things will pick up. (Although we are away at WV and USF this year...)
