I'm learning Spanish, was wondering if anyone speaks it or is learning also. Would be nice to actually make some attempts at conversation. I'm using Rosetta Stone and they don't really start off with anything you can use in a conversation so I am supplementing with podcasts. I recommend Coffee Break Spanish, the guy's voice is so cute. ^_^

'Mi vaca esta en fuego' is about the extent of my Spanish.

When my son convinces me he should be able to play, you can talk to him. :D He's only 7, but been exposed to/studying Spanish all his life, and loves chatting in vent.

And you'd probably want to say something like 'Mi vaca esta quemando', Steingrimr. (My cow is burning)

See! This is why I leave it up to the pros. :D

That's not even useful, Steiner! I wouldn't even take you to Juarez! I, however, am a well rounded speaker.

Cuanto cuesta?
Dos cerveza, por favor.
Donde esta el bano?

I spent six weeks in Spain one summer and I did not speak the language. It was very trying. I only survived by learning two phrases. Bocadillo lomo, con queso y tomate and the more important of the two Un tercio por favor.

I was just looking at the names of the people who posted on this thread. Are you the Rashaverik who played a shadowblade on Mid perc ? Its been a long time and I might be getting the name wrong.

I was 99% sure that was the name I remembered camping odins with but I think usually when I am 99% sure and make a statement of fact I am 100% wrong. Do you remember the name of the hunter that was always out at the Albion mile wall with us. Gray <something >

Believe you're thinking of Grae, a norse hunter.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish.

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and lived there for 12 years, been in the states for 15 years.

Let me know if you need help with anything.

Great! Thanks. I'll PM you with some horribly cobbled together and mispelled Spanish phrases.
