Actions, morale, and tactics. Oh my!

Okay. We're going to play a word association game, and maybe in the process someone will be able to help me understand how all this works.

Lost -> Rimalder
XP -> New Adventure Levels -> More Career Mastery Points
RP -> New Renown Levels -> Access to renown gear and points for Tactics?
Infamy -> Public Quest rewards (gear, money, loot) - > Anything else?

If anyone could tell me how Actions, Morale, and Tactics fit into this structure, I will name my first born after you.

Action is your energy or mana to use moves/spells

Morale is a special energy that feels up the longer the fight gose that lets you use realy powerful moves/spells

Tactics are buffs that are always on you.

great thread hehehe. i have some kind of ability that has to go in a certain slot. for the life of me i cant figure out where.

PS how do i have more than one hotbar up at one time? :)

Depends on the ablity. As for the bar go to the UI area.

If it's a tactic, it will fit into one of your tactic slots. Tactic slots are like little mini action bars. You can actually have multiple sets of them so you can change your tactic abilities on the fly. (Which is cool!) I don't have the game in front of me right now so I'm going to be a bit vague but each tactic bar will hold a renown tactic (you get those from renown trainers), a trained tactic (from career trainers at certain levels) and the rest escape me. So if you get a tactic ability from a renown trainer, it will only to in the renown tactic slot on your tactic bar. /breathes If you hover over the tactic slots, it will tell you what type of tactic it will hold.

You can change the number of bars and the layout of those bars as well as locating and moving your tactic bar by clicking on the icon at the top of the screen that looks like a little wrench. It's the UI editor. There's various options there for hiding and showing windows and you can click the edit button to be able to move everything in your UI around or resize the elements.

Only thing I haven't figure out how to do is get some of those bars to go vertically. If I'm being a noob and that's possible, someone explain it to me! :rolleyes:

you can't change them in combat
