When the game launches, I propose that we start a persistent chat channel named "Tintagel" that everyone can join to communicate. This will hopefully see us through forming guilds and alliances.

While this channel should be useful, it is also likely that there will be so many people on it that it will be overloaded for certain types of discussion. It might be good later on to establish some sort of communication channel limited to guild leaders and officers. We'll need to figure out how to make that work.

Also... regarding alliances. As those of you concerned with this sort of thing probably already know, there can only be 10 guilds in an alliance. (At least for now... this is something that I encourage people to keep sending in feedback about.) Obviously we have WAY more than 10 guilds. I already have one alliance arranged and, well, its full. So we need at least one or two more alliances set up. I hope somebody has been working on it, or is willing to start.

If nothing else we can always all just use the channel as a conjunction and I'm more then happy to help in setting up another alliance or what ever if needed as just an extention if all this server stuff goes ok :).

It's stickied Dankus. Just a question, is anyone willing to help form guilds? I know for my guild I'm the only one with CE and a few have the SE, and if I'm able to I'd like to get my guild formed as soon as possible if anyone is willing to help out with this or is needing the same it'd be appreciated.

Modost, I believe Dankus is wanting to know which 10 guilds are in the "main" alliance. The list that is stickied (unless I'm missing something) is guilds participating in this community.

I don't think people should call it the "main" alliance. Its just an alliance of some of the guilds that I felt comfortable with. Which doesn't mean that I wouldn't feel comfortable with guilds not in that particular alliance right now. But that's the problem with such a low guild cap on alliances. There are more good guilds that I would love to ally with than can fit. I encourage people to submit feedback asking them to raise the cap.

In the meantime, we're going to need more alliances.

Sent feedback on this as well. Unless I am missing something or am not suppose to see it...the sticky in question shows way more than 10 guilds??? Just looking for clarification so I can inform guildmates and know if we are in the "already alligned" family, or need to throw our guild into the Looking for Alliance hat.

Currently with Lilitallye in the <Dem Hibbiez> guild. Name of guild will change once we get in game and get formed up.

To elaborate on Juko's post. Our guild <Dem Hibbiez> Shal now be known as <Atrocity> We finally decided on a name this week, and more than likely i'll be the GM of the guild. Were still in some debate over exactly who but we will know for sure on Tuesday when the rest of the preorders get into head start. If we wern't one of the original 10 that get into the alliance I'd be happy to start one up as a secondary alliance. Please PM me with more details if that be the case and I can contact some of the other guilds here that didn't make it and get things rolling.

On a side note Thanks Gisli for getting all this organized. I know it can be a huge pain in the butt, and we are looking forward to running with you. I'll be a bit more active on these fourms as things progress in WAR. Anyway i'll check back later to see what everything looks like. :)

The guild leaders and their officers that are involved have been communicating for quite some time now. I assume they tell their guild members, too. ;) Sorry for not posting a list of guild names, but I just don't feel comfortable doing that for all sorts of reasons.

Bottom line: If your guild hasn't been involved in alliance discussions, I recommend that you start!

Let me get my guild set up over the next couple of days, once I know we are all set in and for sure locked in on the same server as everyone else (this shouldnt be a problem but I'm approaching everything carefully incase anything wack happens with servers) then I will have guild leaders contact me and we can set something up. I'm just looking to maybe form another alliance with some that maybe somewhere down the road if Mythic opens up alliance sizes we can work with Gisli to combine. If you want to start talks now though I'm good with it, just send me a PM if you a guild leader and interested.
