I am having problems. I am trying to login to the patcher in order to install WAR. Every time I do it says that my authentication has failed. I am typing in the right login and password though. I even went to my account management page with Mythic and I can log in fine there.

What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do?

If you didn't buy the CE (collectors edition) which is about 20 buck more than the SE, you will not be able to get in tell the 16

CE gets in 4 days early
SE gets in 2 days early

All beta is closed

Just a hunch, but they may be having server login problems. Did you check other forums?

No major login issues just long q times lots of us with SE think there is a log in issue but there isn't we've just been locked out

I don't know is the problem. My wonderful wife bought it for me for my birthday. It was a pre-buy from Best Buy. She doesn't remember what type it was though. The box does not say. It had cards in it, but it did not include a figure like I think the CE is supposed to have. It does have codes for beta, head start, and a camp ability and a ring. My cd's and etc. will be in on 9/17/08. I am trying to get more info. on it from her to see which one it is.

I was going to sit it out for a little while until I got a new comp., but since she bought it for me for my birthday I was going to play it.

you should be able to see what kind of headstart it is the account management

if it says CE headstart then you have a problem, otherwise its fine

Ok, I finally got it out of my wife how much she paid. She said it was like $53.00. This tells me that it is SE. This sucks though because I will have to download tons of patches before I can login which will mean I will probably be stuck in a queue.

I cannot get in either, is there another patcher to be using that we don't have? the one on my desktop is for the beta : (

I had a similar problem, except that the patcher nor the account site was recognizing my password. I had to do "Forgot Your Password" before it'd let me get in to input my codes.

Gamestop apparently never got or depending on where you lived got very few CE headstart codes. I have been looking around on forums and more than a few people have complained. I called the store where I ordered my copy from and they said I paid for a CE but that they had never seen anything but the standard preorder box.

After reading still more people posting about long wait times on gamestop's customer service line and getting the same answer I have figured out I will be in game on Tuesday and no amount of grousing or complaining will get me the CE code I should have. Hopefully anyone who reads this and knows me, knows how hard it is for me not to curse like the sailor I was.

this to appears to be the issue I have. I have already called the store I purchased from and at the $86 I paid for each of two games I purchased I will be expecting Gamestop to reimburse me for my troubles.
I can't help but think Mythic has some responsibility in this as well.

Call Game Stop customer service, they had not sent my beta codes when I called them the lady had them to me in an hour or so, they (GS) just a little goofed up is all.

Chicory you should have the CE code in the box but if not do the same above, Game Stop customer Service was very good about following up with this.

The problem I'm having is I bought CE from Best Buy, but they sent me SE codes instead. I didn't realize there was a difference until today, when I couldn't log in.

Needless to say... I'm pretty unhappy right now.

You will get four free days as well as extra items... This was addressed in the preorder section... SUCKS majorly I know, but at least it will be better than nothing... :( I am SE sooooooo will be in on tuesday...
