That information on the herald is not entirely true, the only thing thats correct about my character when i looked it up was the level and a couple of the pieces of gear and the trophies. The realm rank and other gear were completely wrong.
But yes, level wise they are pretty crazy. It's not entirely unbelievable however, there are a few people who have zero down time on characters because they are played by multiple people. Not to mention skull throne has not been down as often as for instance phoenix throne.

Considering the low renown, I'd have to agree... not much point in racing to tier 4 with no one to fight... when opponents DO arrive, they'll likely have much more renown training, leading to an advantage over just being 40 in my opinion.
I severely doubt they're pure PvE people, since they tend to level at least slightly slower to experience the content.
And my level and renown seem to be just fine on the herald... it's only items that are quirky (uses a different database for stats).

If Skull Throne is an Open RVR server, they can kill en masse whenever they want, though. I'm not sure how much renown they'll get, but from a PVP standpoint it's smart to be ahead of the curver.
On a non-open server it's a complete waste of time to rush, due to the renown setup. It's why despite always leveling fast, I'm taking my time now.

Yeah, it makes sense to level quickly on the open servers since if you're behind the curve you're prey to everyone ahead of you.
Also, I've found that I'm always hitting the renown cap for these lower levels.

I did that in Beta alot Olaf.. I would always be max renown for my rank and have to level to get any more renown.
I did alot of rvr in beta, im taking my time now.

what is the max realm rank per normal pve level?
And these guys might be chinesse farmers. And that may also be a triple boxer/farmer.

In beta, renown cap = your current rank until 40, when it went to 80.
So at lvl 10, if you hit RR 10 you stop gaining renown. Not sure if it's the same, should hit cap tonight if so and know for sure.

this is correct.

Not quite. Say you are level 10. You can be RR10, and then you still get renown until you fill the bar (1 point from 11).
I know that at some lower levels, you can have RR one more than your level. I don't know how far this goes to, but it seems to stop certainly by around level 8.

I think they should change it so that renown feeds into a pool when you are capped, then once you make a new rank you get all the pooled renown. It's kind of a pain when people are in a scenario/warband and want to leave since they are not getting any renown from the activity. Barring that, turn the renown into an appropriate reward of xp when capped.

.
I can see people farming "easy" scenarios to abuse this system

This is an excellent idea!!!

AND complaining about the lack of endgame experience and RvR ...
It is always the same with these people. They race to the end then complian there is nothing to do and no one to play with / against.

In an open PVP world, getting to max cap early is wise, as you aren't gank fodder.
In other games there's not an issue with getting high level in a rush. I'll admit historically I've been a fast burner.
However, there is no incentive in the Core ruleset, and really as some have mentioned you'll be losing ground RR wise which is where the real gains are.
