Anyone having this issue when running the warpatch.exe

"The patch client was unable to retrieve the file [patcher.prod.sig] from the patch server"

I have the head start option and just finished downloading the fileplanet beta and upgrading my computer a bit. I can't seem to find a work around for it.

One last thing... I can't see how but I am in England if that could be holding me back.

When I would get that error it usually meant the patcher was down. They said they were taking servers down today around 4am for an update. However that would have been 11pm in London, unless the servers are still down.

I might be grasping at straws here but do you have a US key, meaning you ordered your copy from a US retailer?

Yeah everything dealing with warhammer is "Made in the USA" for my codes and downloads :D

Well that is good to know... but I still have no idea why it won't let me reach the patcher...

Your friends in England... any chance they are using SKY broadband... if so I would like to chat them up on some issues I am having.

I had to turn off my firewall to fix it... in case anyone else runs into this problem.

When it first happened to me it was cause my patch.cfg was corrupt.
