Default Need help with macros/assigning keys

I am so used to DAoC's method of assigning key that I can't seem to figure out this new system.

I would like to assign my morale abilities to F1, F2 etc. In addition, I have a G15 keyboard and I am wondering if I can assign anything to the "G" buttons running alongside it.

Does anyone have experience setting up key assignments that can help me out? The system in game seems straightforward, but damn if I can't get the hang of it.

There are bindings for the morale abilities in the key bindings settings. As for the G15 I'm not sure, you can just try assigning the keys and see what happens.

I have a G15 but hardly use the extra buttons. I don't like to move away from my "home" position on WASD as much as possible. So I set things up like this:

WASD - movement, I use mouselook with A/S as strafe
    123456 - Spells 1-6
    QETGVC - Spells 7-12

CTRL and ALT are mapped to my side mouse buttons, easily in reach while I move around. Thus I also use CTRL/ALT combinations of the above keys (1-6, Q-C).

The CTRL set is normally my extra heals and defensive/morale abilities whereas the ALT combinations are damage or things I don't cast often.

My morale abilities, since I use them all the time, are CTRL 1-4. I usually click unit frames for healing - in an FPS I'd be using the mouse to aim anyway, so it's not a big loss in reaction time there.
