Thank you! Need to figure out how the costs work, and if we really are getting any guild XP.

Something to remember for when you need to do it: The spot where you go to claim is the standard spot on the roof (not the lord room level).

We don't get feeback when we claim (or else I didn't notice it) about costs. So its really hard to tell. All I can do is look at the vault balance (which means I have to go to the vault, which is a nuisance). And what I'll see is a differential between income and outflow. So it is really tough to tell. I did take a look last night, and I'll look again this evening. Our expectation from earlier information is 100g/day. That is plausable.

100 gold a day?! Holy crapola. Do the keeps level like in DAoC when claimed and held?

As far as I know, the keeps do not level like in DAOC. You capture it, claim it, and you basically only receive the benefits of your Standard while in the vicinity of the keep. Of course these bonuses can be useful, but there is little else offered that's beneficial to the individual.

Your guild apparently gets increased xp gain while you claim a keep, but the amount is hard to tell. Again, no feedback.

Wish we had more feedback on the daily upkeep cost. Oh, and the guard spam is annoying when someone brushes against one of your guards. "Thee keep lord is under attack!!" is basically a game of The Boy who cried wolf.

Yup. I'll repeat my mantra: Mythic has keeps totally backwards. The doors are paper thin and the player feedback is meaningless. So people don't know when an attack is in progress, or have much chance to get there if it is. On the other hand, the lord room guards are horrendous. So instead of players rallying and having primary responsibility for defense, its the PvE guards that are the prime factor. If there is any reasonable number of defenders, then they become nearly impossible to beat in the lord room, almost regardless of the number of attackers. Again because of the huge effect of the guards.

Yeah guards in the lord room are horribly difficult for attackers to defeat when there are any defenders. That's one of the reasons I rolled a BW (and would have gone Sorc had I been destro). It's incredibly fun to AE the stairs when attackers are attempting to get up into the lord room. On the converse, it's not that fun to try to charge up the stairs into a lord room when there are any casters up there.

    Oct 3 patch Notes
Some of the monsters and doors in the RvR fortresses were found to have improper behaviors and settings, making them less challenging than originally intended. These issues have been corrected, and RvR fortresses should now provide a more appropriate level of challenge to players.

That is a fortress being discussed in the patch note, not a T2 or T3 keep.
