i put files from my new pc to my old pc so that i could reinstall my new pc. the old pc does not see the new one to put them back

Did you "share" any folders on the new PC after you reinstalled?

Have you tried it in the opposite direction? Based on the way you said it, I take it that you copied things from NEW to OLD while being on NEW and are now trying to copy those same things from OLD to NEW while being on OLD. Try mapping OLD's shared directory from NEW and perform the copy while on NEW.
