Free Character Transfers
Greetings!
We are pleased to announce that in the coming days we will be offering Free Character Transfers from our servers with lower populations to a set of servers with higher populations. To help you better prepare for these transfers we have provided additional details below.

Okay so first they cloned servers with high population in an effort to try and alleviate the queues and now they're going to allow free character transfers from low population servers to high ones?

By "higher" they mean relative to the low population servers. It will actually be Low -> Medium. They also plan to add High -> Medium transfers later as well.

I can understand the low->med move, but I don't really understand why they would want to move people off of high pop servers, unless their goal is for everyone to be on a medium pop server

The transfers will be based on realm so the idea is if you have a high pop server with significantly more Order than Destro, the Order people would have the opportunity to move to a medium pop server, thus helping to even out the realm ratio.
