    Default Connectivity Issues

Well, my lovely post was lost - alas! - but here's the gist: sometimes I have an issue when I play that has me essentially going LD (dropping back to character selection screen). This can happen repeatedly until I give up and call it a night. Other nights I have no issues whatsoever (well, besides my own regularly ongoing ones....). It seems its not a PC issue, but either my router, my modem, or my service (Gisli blames Comcast ).

Does any one have any thoughts, or suggestions on what I can try to solve this issue? And, Cillbo, can you repost those links you sent before.

    Thanks!

    PS No worries, Isak!

Are you on a wireless connection?

    Thanks, Cillbo.

Wired connection: 2Wire HomePortal router, and Comcast/Motorola modem (will have to head home to get model numbers).

You can access the cable modems web interface usually by going to 192.168.100.1 might not help at all, but sometimes can be useful in seeing if something is causing the modem to act funny.

Also might help to see if you can go straight to the cable modem when this happens so the cause can hopefully be narrowed down some.
