Folks still leaning toward Chaos?

Nearly everyone I have spoken to here and elsewhere has said they are going to play chaos. I have heard that polls are saying as much as 75% of players want to play chaos. Just wondering if we are keeping the options open or we are pretty much set on Chaos.

I know that polls and scuttlebutt are not to be trusted =). Also I have a feeling that the more casual players (the types that dont really post on boards or respond to polls) will end up going Order becuase it is the "good guy" side. However, after the mess of Hib Ector that Siol Lear and friends ran into, I dont want to level a toon up and then spend all my time try to find and enemy to kill 56 v 1.

Just something to think about.

That is definately something to be aware of.I was there for the hib ector fiasco as well.Logard was nice enough to guild me Just hard to say at the moment.Hopefully there will be a way to see population distribution when the game opens.I would not hold my breath on it though.

Most of the people aware of the game are probably already aware of what warhammer is. I wouldn't worry about it until closer to release when the general populace will start to take notice.

My bigger concern is that they will try to "balance" by overpowering Order, just like they overpowered Hibs. We'll have to see what happens. Personally, I find greenskins the most fun to play. But I've not given Order serious thought.

What was the Hib fiasco on Ector?

The hib fiasco on Ector was smiler to the WoW launch fiasco. Essentially everybody had their server picked and piled on. Also at the time hibs were seen as the overpowered realm by most everybody. At least that's what I remember.

They should of had three sides Have this feeling one side is gonna be more powerful, and it depends on if they have a good leader.

I agree that any 2-sided game is far less likely to succeed than a 3-sided game.

I'm surprised they only went with 2 factions, it eliminates such a fun dynamic of PvP. It always kept things interesting and fun when pushing into an enemies realm and fearing the chance of getting wiped from behind by an organized Realm 3, who might take all your hard work at taking keeps and turn it into a free Relic Raid for their own Realm.

3 will always be > then 2! :P

I am a massive greenskin fan but just from general talk it looks like the Dwarves are going to be very nasty so if that becomes an option the Dwarves could be a very evil solution.

I've heard that Champions of Haggerfel will remain true to their roots and will be playing stunties...err...dwarves in WHO. Just repeating what I heard from Horaf though, and you know how he can get...
