If you acquire the apothecary "plant", can you convert them to seeds normally?

No, you cannot get seeds from plants that come from the lvl200 BoP seeds.

When you harvest a BoP seed, you always get 1 BoP seed of the same type back. On critical failures you still get the seed and the wilted weed. Plants grown from a BoP seed cannot be converted back to a seed. The game does not let you.

The one thing I did read was if you plant a BoP seed, do not uproot it. People have lost their BoP seed that way. Maybe this has been fixed since the whole BoP seeds were introduced, but I'm not going to try testing it with my seeds.

The term for the process by which you convert a plant into a seed+resin is "reaping". As said before, the plants grown from the BoP seeds cannot be reaped.
