Default Tombs of the Vulture Lord Issues

At this point I think the best way to handle the tombs is to switch out party make up.

The first battle is easy with two tanks but having two tanks makes the next two fights much harder.

Bad game in my design imo.

Personally, I think the whole Main Tank, Off Tank thing many people need to re-evaluate.

The only thing I see them contributing is Guards, and the rare occasion when the MT dies, and then they pick up aggro (and manage to not die) and you kill the mob.

I honestly think extra DPS would help out much more in many situations. 3 DPS would basically increase your damage of the group by 30%ish, easily, over an OT.

And it seems to me, many of the lairs and bosses in LotD berserk after a certain amount of time and hit for 30k. So the more DPS the better, I think. As long as you have a solid tank and a couple good healers, you should be fine in 95% of all situations.

The most difficult part of LotD is that I don't know what I am doing in many of the tombs/lairs yet, haha. It is fun figuring them out though.

Yeah tombs is odd. Two tanks needed for the first fight and then one tank max needed for the rest of the dungeon. Odd design.

At this rate it's either get super duper dps, go one healer, or try to find a way to get through the first fight with one tank.

Woof, stressful for the healer though if there's only one, and if they die and no one has a rez potion or they're not a zealot w/ self-rez, you're done.

I suspect once they're done a few more times and people figure out the tricks to them, it'll get a lot easier.

Then again, I've only been in 1 tomb, so I'm pretty clueless.

Problem we've been running into for tomb of the vulture lord boss 3 is dps.

We have three dps classes, sorcs, and it's simply not enough for how the dungeon is currently designed.

It's odd, but boss three of vulture lord may require four dps classes.

Currently think a chosen with spirit debuffs, dok, another healer, and 3 sorcs can do the third boss fight. Prehaps even the fifth.

Honestly starting to think the best setup for this dungeon is indeed one tank, a supporting dense melee class, and the rest an even split dps and healers.

Still going to need a white hot pve defense tank and a pretty dense melee dps to survive the first phase of boss one.

Sounds like you need a PvE specced BG to me.
