    Default Positional/movement affecting combat

I was reading on Steam forums about this.. I don't have details on it yet.

From what I gather so far... melee pushing forward into a caster -20% resist to magic dammage...

strafe adds to defenses and does reduce magic damage taken...

So it seems squirly movement will be key into melee fighters approach to targets.

    ANyone have details ?

Sometimes in raids there is fire.
You have to not stand in that fire.

not sure that is 100% accurate.

I noticed my own +attack dropped when walking backwards.

That would be the reduction in physical damage listed in the "Backward" section.

Interestingly, it makes running through your target far more effective in most situations than circle strafing because you get the +damage from moving forward rather than the -damage for strafing.
