All servers seem to be down at the moment, for whatever reason.

Prehaps they are increasing population caps.

Just curious where do they post that information? On the NCSoft launcher or the web site? Or somewhere else entirely?

Paging over briefly to the web site, I don't see any announcements or updates past the 20th.

I have no clue, I was online when I saw the message that the server was coming down in 30 seconds.

They need eto reboot the servers every morning to get rid of all the AFK private stores :P

Wonder how much they contribute to the Queue

All of it, and more. But I don't think booting the private stores is the best solution. They should just raise the server populations to eliminate the queue. That would in turn eliminate that desire to run AFK stores, which would keep the server load low enough to support the extra people. They have created an artificial demand.

I rather have a queue then make the game unplayable from lag generated by too many players.

The server Me Braik Zarm Pim played on had servers queues for WoW for years :P
