    Default Extra Cube Space

Just an FYI for those that haven't hit 30 yet.

Once your 30 go to the Pand crafting area, a guard there will have a quick quest that will give you a second expanded cube with the first row open

Its a free expansion though so its best to wait till you have level 4 then get level 5 for free. Right now you cant buy level 5.

I am pretty sure that this has been tested, and that it doesn't affect your expansion ability. I know from someone who checked this directly that it doesn't change the price for your next upgrade. So unless you know for certain that there is a limitation from using this quest, it appears from what we have been able to check that they got it right.

But if you can't buy 5, than it makes sense to wait.

I don't see how it makes sense to wait. The price for the next paid upgade doesn't change. The total number of upgrades over your toon's lifetime doesn't change. You don't benefit from waiting. If you wait, you simply don't get that row of slots until you do the quest.

This quest is available at level 29.

Getting the cube row from completing it does not affect your progression on the purchased rows. I was at the point where I would have purchased Level 4 for 181k in order to expand. I completed the quest and will still have to purchase Level 4 for 181k (not accounting for Tax rate).

There is another quest (chain) at 34, but it is much more annoying because it requires Rich Diamond Ore, which takes 380 Vitality to extract.

I suspect that you max out at 12 rows (there is room for 4 cube tabs in the UI) and that you have get the ones from the quests to get them all.

You can't buy level 5 because you don't get it from the cube guys in Pandaemonium but rather a guy on a "hidden" (not on the map) island in the Upper Abyss.
