Anyway, in a moment of nostalgia I thought I'd get back in touch with the old community. See what's going on, who's playing what and where.

Does it have decent PVP?

I think it does have good PvP but am as yet only 42 out of 50 levels and levels loom large against other players so am finding many a spell goesa *poof* when fighting the big fights.

Couple kinds of PvP. There is a large all the time PvP zone, in this zone are forts which can be taken during specific vulnerable times. At first I thought that was silly, why not anytime? Now I think its fine, focuses things. Also artifcats (DONT think DAOC) they are smaller objectives that can be take and then grant powers, a couple of which are pretty powerful.

In all of the PvE zones except the wee ones "rifts" can appear through which the enemy can enter and gank those leveling/questing. This is not uncommon and depending on how many forts have been taken can happen quite often. The ganksters as one might imagine are usually of the stealthy variety and it can be satisfying to kill them and frustrating to be killed by them.

In this case Garrock, it is not the crisp clean scent of granite cut from high mountain peak which your Dwarfish nostrils used to the odors of dank humid mammalian claustrophobia mistake for befoulment.

No in this case its wing wax, better get used to it.

Oh you may be pleased to note that although there is only 1 "race" per side, the body shape and in particular body size customization ranges are very wide. Thus you may fashion yourself in the aspect Dwarfish or Kobbie or some such critter as is your peculiar custom.
