Been pretty good Vasan, thanks for asking. I am kind of hanging in limbo game wise. I just log on Rift to do a few Wf's and knock out my crafting dailies and that is pretty much it. I am definately looking forward to SWTOR or GW2 which ever gets released first. Hopefully we can Ravens back up and running, i miss the old crew something fierce.

Rift's single minded focus on completing the pre-launch raid encounters has turned the game into something that really only appeals to hard-core raiders and extremely casual gamers. Furthermore the shameful neglect of the pvp element of the online game experience in favor of working on any other type of content, along with the admittedly horrible pvp advancement system continues to annoy. I would be surprised if anyone was happy to hear it would be about three to six months before one more scenario pvp area and one open world pvp zone would be created. Rift's totally a time killer until something newer comes out, agreed.

While I continue to look forward to the Old Republic, which should be the next game out next in three to six months, I do fear it will be the pve and pvp endgame equivalent of Rift. The jury is still out on that, since the old republic seemingly hasn't released all the information pertaining to pvp and pve at this point. Therefore while hopefully we can try to reform at or least get a few like minded guilds on the same server I am wondering how much interest there will be in Old Republic, or will most people actually be waiting for Guild Wars 2, with it's launch scheduled open world pvp.

Yep, that is kind of what i am thinking as well. SWTOR might end up being Rift 2.0 , but i actually like the IP and wil actually try to play the game and read quest text instead of just clicking and going to the shaded area on map. Wow that sentence was longer than i anticipated hehe. I must admit i am intrigued with the 3 server pvp that they are advertising for GW2.
