Okay what Game do you plan to play coming up?

I expect to play both TOR and GW2, but I selected TOR because it is coming out first.

I clicked other since i am waiting for Prime. It will be awhile before it sees the light of day. Other than that i'll most likely go to GW2.

I voted for SWTOR not holding too much hope but enough to get my money worth. I'm also keeping an eye on GuildWars2 but being published by NCSoft frightens me.

I also voted for TOR because I have ordered it. I have been looking into GW2 and have played the trial of GW. I think in the long run GW2 looks like the best PvP. There is a small benfit in playing GW to get a few crossover items but maynot be worth to cost.

It seems so far we thinking of SWTOR, I am giving about a week or two for everyone to vote. Our next goal is to decide what we should do to make us comfortable in the game. We have three suggestions for the future if we picked SWTOR.
First choice is to create our own guild. In my opinion I don’t know if anyone can step up to make a ravensflyte guild. I think mainly we are all busy with family and other lives from the game, and I think we starting to get a bit older. But if there is someone willing to step up as a leader to start a guild let us know.

Second suggestion is to join Fist of the north guild. Just like Gisli my husband wanted to become less involve as a leader. He left the guild due to working 12 hour shifts at work. FOTN is really not a big guild anymore. They are basically in the same boat as us. I suggested them because I notice that we don’t much say much of SWTOR game as much as them. They wanted to share with you the rules.

Casual. Family. Democracy.

Democracy - We don't have a guild leader; we are all just adults and come to a general consensus on things. This is almost arbitrary though, as we all have pretty much the same outlook and goals in these games.

Casual - Being casual doesn't mean we don't take what we're doing seriously, or even that we only play a couple hours a week. What I mean by this is that we don't push end-game content, and we just let things happen.

Family - It's always first, but this is again arbitrary. With our lives, the casual nature of the guild, and with being together for 10 years, this isn't even an issue.

As an example. We were playing Rift, and this is only a year or so ago. I made a comment to someone that was in our group. Actually, it was rather crass and immature. The guys called me immediately on it. Before they did though, I knew I shouldn't have even said it. I apologized to him, and to the guild. That was the end of it, and nothing else was said. It's just how we are.
As long as they know we are no longer a massive force and are more life and family focused, all will be good.

As long as they can follow our rules of "0 drama" and "Don’t be an jerk to other players",
Third suggestion if someone knows a bigger and a more serious guild, or have another suggestion let us know.
I really like to have you all and Gisli happy and comfortable in game, that you all can enjoy yourselves with SWTOR. You guys are great people and deserve the best.

I have been playing in the Old Timers Guild. They have the same playing style as Ravensflite did, I received help when I ask for it. They have about 600 members on each side far. They may be a good look for someone looking for a home while playing SWTOR .

Elly -- It is going to take some time for people to realize that there is activity here to respond to. Most people at this point probably check this forum only occasionally. If folks keep talking and planning, though, and it looks like something is happening, then the numbers will slowly start to pick up. Sending out some emails might also get attention.

What are the expected dates for things to happen? Like guild or open betas, or actual release estimates? That should give you some idea about how quickly you need to make decisions.
