    Default Question about capacity

    With this announcement;

    http://www.ravensofwar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=976

    What will happen if PT hits max capacity either before the 18th or like right after the official launch?

    Yea yea I should have pre-ordered the CE or SE decades ago so I wouldn't have to worry, but still...

    Is there a contigency plan if us 'regulars' can't get on PT?

    You can still create characters, you'll just be sitting in the queue.

    Oh good, for a moment there I had this strange feeling that servers would be 'locked' or something like that. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, Im an off hours player anyways. Though if there are que times at 1am (when I get home from work) or at 9am (usually when I wake up) then that might be a problem...

    We've got to expect queues on the 18th. We had some queues tonight. But they don't last long, and we only had them at peak hours. Its possible that we'll get really hammered by new people on the 18th. But with so many servers to choose from now, we're hoping it will sort itself out fairly quickly. A couple of days of queues strikes me as a fair price for a high-population server that will be stable for a long time to come.

    The queues are short.. Until the game kicks you out and you have to sit in them multiple times.

    I only sat in queue for about 5 minutes before I got in last night. So not bad at all.

    The Queues were short and short lived. we'll see how things turn out once the game goes live officially tomorrow, but in general I'm content to hear that we actually have a good population on this server to start.

    I just wish there wasn't such a long wait on the Scenarios. Occasional it's been over a half hour between them, and that's rather frustrating, but perhaps that's only for the Tier 1 HE vs DE Scenario.

    While i only had 1 Crash to desktop some of my friends had many last night and the queuing became a bit of an irritation. The one worry i have right now was the huge lag spikes in certain area's. as far as i could tell it was only in new player area's and not server wide(scenario's were smooth)... unless the scenarios are kicked to a seperate server/cluster. This eventually disappeared but to think we havent even seen retail pops yet...

    Not many people enjoy that scenario. Head to Norsca or the Greenskin area and queue for Nordenwatch or Ekrun respectively.
